Using the
Competency Management System (CMS)

The CMS has been developed to measure and track your skills, knowledge and understanding across different competencies. It’s a useful tool to identify any training gaps, track your continuing professional development and notify you when any of your external passes/permits are going to expire.

In this video, we’ll cover how to:

  • Navigate through the different competencies

  • Add a new completed training course

  • Score yourself across three different levels

Additional Information

  • The CMS must be filled in within the first few months of employment at Firstco.

  • The CMS must be updated each time you complete a new training course.

  • The CMS must be updated when you receive a new external site pass/permit.
