Signing into your PC/Laptop & Software

In this video, we’ll cover:

Additional Information:

You can log into your PC/laptop by entering your:

User name: firstname.lastname@firstco.uk.com
Password: [Your Password] - This will be emailed to you, once logged in, please reset it using the ‘Reset Password’ option.

If you are an engineer, you will have a local admin account to install software:

Username: .\[firstname]   
Password: [Your Password] - This will be emailed to you, please ensure you do not use this account for anything other than installing software. All day to day work must be completed on the domain account.

EXPIRY OF PASSWORDS

Your Microsoft Account password will expire every 60 days, please use a combination of numbers, letters and special characters.

MICROSOFT TWO-FACTOR AUTHENTICATION

The Microsoft Multi-factor Authentication is an extra layer of security after you enter your password to log into your Microsoft account. You will receive an email from Microsoft to set this up. You will need to enter your personal mobile number for this.

I.T EQUIPMENT

If you need any equipment such a cables, mouses, keyboards, monitors, USBs, external drives etc. please email itorders@firstco.uk.com and a member of the IT team will provide you with the necessary equipment. You should never purchase IT equipment for yourself and claim it on expenses.
