Additional Information

The Personal Tranining Allowance was introduced to make it easier and quicker to book training, without waiting for review and approval for small amounts. Everyone at Firstco has a £500 allowance for this year that can be used for any relevant training or event attendance.
Last year, some of the things people put their £500 allowance towards included:
- Degree course fees for those studying in their own time
- Exam fees for professional accreditations
- Coaching support to help work out career and development plans
- An IET course on effective negotiation
- A self-paced course on the MS Azure platform used for Firstcloud
- An introduction to Siemens PLC programming
You can book this directly, but we do ask that you let the L&D board know by emailing training@firstco.uk.com for tracking and accounting. The board can also advise on alternative courses we may have used in the past, and help with the booking and payment process if needed

If you find a course that costs more than the £500 allowance, you can always request this by filling out the form here, or by emailing the board as above.
